Search engines indexing only a small number of my pages.

We have the site www.timefortravel.co.uk. The site has around 900 pages but Google seems only to index 68 pages, alltheweb 88.

I have submitted a sitemap to Google, we have a robot.txt file allowing access to pages, we have an onsite sitemap.

Is there someting fundamental I'm missing here that's blocking the search engines' access to the site?

Any advice is much appreciated.

It takes some time for the spiders to crawl through your site - So you will have to be patient.

While your "waiting" go out there and promote your website as much as possible on other travel forums, blogs and message boards. Don't SPAM them by simply dropping by and saying "hello look at my website". Get involved and give advice on these great destinations and how the average Joe can use your website best as a resource for traveling to these great locations.
