What's the deal with Google?
How come Google's search results are up and down like a yo-yo? Every time I look at web pages, it has a different PR.
Pr 5, Pr 6, Pr 0 - all in the same day.
Is Google falling apart?

It appears that the pr values are still exporting across the data centers.Originally Posted by LnrdRthr
As I understand it google has two types of PR (PageRank) #1 Toolbar - a green bar with a numeric prompt line and #2 Internal PR
Goggle exports the internal PR to the toolbar once every 3 or 4 months a.k.a. Toolbar export(update).
What you need to know simply:
A. Google updates internal PR daily
B. The "Toolbar PR Update" is really just an export
C. Google has numerous Datacenters(IP Addresses). When you go to google you are directed to one of numerous data centers (ip address).
D. All the dc's are not updated at once.
Thus, you PR has not changed. You are just opening different datacenters. Some with updated toolbar pr and some not.
You can check which datacenter you are on by clicking on "Cached"
