Yeah, now you mention it, it does look like the Windows logo. Well if it’s worked for them...

Maybe people will think they have seen your logo before, or subconsciously associate it with Microsoft, and therefore trust you much quicker.... well, maybe.

I do like 9, the white outline on each letter is definitely a good move, but I also still like the simplicity of 8. Sorry, I'm not really helping am I!

I like nr 8 better. I think the incorporation of the colors makes the logo too "busy". I like the simplicity of nr. 8 ...

Also, did you check how the logo works out in print, in B/W and on a fax machine? Nr. 8 wins hands down ...

Hi Faglork - thanks for the thoughts - I agree it's a bit busy with all the colours going on. 8 definitely seems to be the cleanest/simplest so far. I didn't physically check on the fax/print/b&w output, but it did cross my mind and I thought that 8 would be best there, so it's good to have that confirmed by someone else. Maybe 9 would only be usable in a limited scope as mentioned by Jude - but as the primary logo 8 looks like it's getting the vote!
    Thanks again,
    Darren.

    Logo 9

I really like logo 9 without the colours - its clean and I feel the colours make it slightly too busy.

    Like Number 8 and 9

    Hello Daren,

I like both number 8 and 9. 9 is somewhat lively since it has colors so it definitely catches the eyes. 8 is good for printing and greyscale displays.

I think you should use 9 for web and online displays and 8 for printing purposes.
