Very attractive site. I would suggest getting the word "flag" into your description tag somewhere, although it is apparent that you are mostly going for fundraisers with that one. Nothing else jumped out at me. Maybe it is too early in the morning for me to be picky! :)

Hey usvetsnetwork,
The image of the flags to the left of this text on your homepage - "Wouldn't it be great to see old glory flying in every yard in every community across America? What's a better way to show our patriotism for our great country and the place we call home?" - you could do with a space between the text and the picture - just add another column in the table between the pic & text (if tables are used to lay that out), and give it a width of say, 10px, maybe see how it looks.
Alt text missing on eagle pic - sponsors.html - might be handy to have? Up to you. Accessibility and search engine-friendly benefits to be had there by all accounts.
It's a nice-looking, clean crisp site - I like the look. Not too sure about the font - I'm okay with it, but it looks a little 'fussy' on my 17" lcd screen - set at 1024 x 768 - you can try those settings if you like and see what you reckon? Maybe a less fussy font would be easier for the 'old vets' who's eagle-eyes ain't what they used to be? Just a thought.
All the best,
I'm going to look for a Welsh site that does flags and poles too for me now!
Darren.
Thank you for the comments and advice but I don't know how to make the changes you suggest.
Are you using a site builder? Which one? Do you have any access to the code? We may be able to talk you through the changes with more info.

Hello, I'm using Frontpage. Thanks for the help.
support@usvetsnetwork.org
How did you go about building an entire site without knowing how to make changes?
At any rate, there's a lot of deprecated tags throughout your code...look into using CSS for font styles/sizes/colours etc.
Good luck!
I didn't say I was an expert. :o) I don't know the terminology.
Very nice looking site.
I only saw a couple things I would play with a little.
1st being the text in the header. The header looks great but the text looks a little boring.
2nd would be the links on the left hand side that go good with the header in the text. lol
3rd would be the picture in the text. I would move it to one side or the other and bring the text up around the picture.
4th I would put contact information at the bottom of every page.
I really like the site, you have done a good job with it.
Hi -
One way to think of my comments before - "The image of the flags to the left of this text on your homepage - "Wouldn't it be great to see old glory flying in every yard in every community across America? What's a better way to show our patriotism for our great country and the place we call home?" - you could do with a space between the text and the picture - just add another column in the table between the pic & text (if tables are used to lay that out), and give it a width of say, 10px, maybe see how it looks. " - is as follows:
Homepage: the first page someone gets when they type in your web address and your website comees up in their web browser.
Table: is the object I believe you are using to place the image of the flags on the left, and the text "Wouldn't it be great..." to the right of the picture.
Each 'Table' is made up of at least one or more columns and rows. I'm not a Frontpage user, but I'm sure someone here could give you the right directions through the menus to add in a column to a table - if you've put that site together by yourself so far, something like adding in a column to a table will be well within your grasp with a little help.
Columns can be given a fixed width in pixels (px) - so you can tell frontpage to make the column 10px wide - again, something you won't find too tricky if a Frontpage user told you where to look. Would take you about a minute or so.
Anyway, the site looks good, I wouldn't say you've got too much to worry about, this is all minor stuff. If you've built that from scratch yourself as a complete novice, smack yourself on the back and put your feet up for a week or so!! Minor stuff like this can wait a while.
Darren.
