HELP! DSL serps at work are different -thought I was crazy

Thought I was going crazy...I've been trying to optimize a new site www.firewaterwind.com main keyword "disaster restoration". For the past week or so serps on Google place me at #2 at home with dial up. I get to work (local dsl hookup) and my site doesn't even seem to exist with this key word. After checking my site at home in the morning and when I get home still #2! Keep in mind that I've been checking daily for a week.

So, today I called my husband at work (cable) to check placement...#2. I call my friend with a different dsl provider...#2 placement, again. I call my dsl provider, explain the situation but their results are the same as mine are at work (bad) and suggest that it must be something else, maybe spyware, as google search should be the same for everyone and it really has nothing to do with them. I get home tonight and I'm #2 for this keyword search (dialup). Can't find any information to confirm what I have experienced. This is so strange. Appreciate any input.

This is due to you accessing a different Google server at home than you are at work. It happens. One day a Google server was down in Chicago and I couldnt access them at all. It happens because Googgle, Yahoo , etc all have more than one server so it don't simply crash. The server you may be accessing in one place isn't updated with the same information that you see at the other place. There is nothing you can really do about that but write Google a dirty letter.

It may also be due to personalization of search results. Are you logged in to a Google account when you search either at home or work? Have you removed any listings from SERPs?
