SEO Clients to STAY AWAY FROM.....!

I want to see a list of the worst types of SEO clients you can get and the reason for your decision. My first choice is lawyers because if they go into the deal expecting one thing and it don't happen fast enough they might sue! Any others..?

2. refuse to give access to their web site to optimize. in turn, they don't follow any advice given.

I have found the same with Accountants too. They are more or less like the Laywer. They may not sue you, but they never understand your point. Why thig are taking time. Why Google put you in Sandbox for 10 months. Why Yahoo do the same.

Why Google has such a low number of Backlinks, while MSN has thousands.

Motivational Speakers.

They will always ask you why you are not motivated enough. Even if you have 50 top 10 listings for them they want to make sure you are motivated to get more every day.

Wholesalers who think they'll get as much out of google as the ecommerce sites they are selling to. There is a finite number of people searching the internet to buy 1,000 louis vetan purses...

Definitely beware solicitors and Accountants. They are too obnoxious to listen to anyone.

Also beware bosses with teenage children. Because their son/daughter always seems to be the whizzkid who built their own website in a weekend. The Line: "So why are you taking so long to build mine?" crops up somewhere during the implementation.

Or the types who begin the sentence with "I only want a simple website.." Because they normally end with "a website that orders stock for me, adds the amount onto our antique database, makes the coffee, cures Arthritis, etc".

So far this one has been a good experience for me.

At least they tend to have very good content and copy to work with.

Displaced ex-SEO's is one i ran into, a company in non computer field that has 2 webmasters that used to market seo themselves. SEO's are generally skeptical of everyone but themselves, and tend to want to "take over" half way through.
