    Yahoo Dumps Minimum Spend

Last night I got an email from Yahoo!/Overture about them stopping their policy of requiring a twenty dollar minimum spend. I think this is really a step in the right direction to retaining their share of the online ad market and it may attract a few more small web-based businesses on top of it. Kudos to whomever pushed that through. I was caught by the 20$ rule once and it infuriated me to no end as I use PPC as a way to get traffic from low traffic terms - most of which are grandfathered. Hooray!

You're right, I think it's a big step. All of the other PPC search engines should follow suit. This will allow a lot of small businesses to spend just a little bit to see the effects that search engine marketing can have on their business.
