Recommendation for SEO Firm

I have tried working with two very well known SEO firms and both are not very good. And I am not sure why this is.

I tried to do my homework and still am not impressed.

And when I say not very good I mean the first one said the work would be done within two weeks and it took 6 weeks. The second does not seem to understand what a CMS is and how it works.

I am not even talking about lack of results because it has been two early, I am talking just poor customer service and basic stuff.

Has anyone worked with one they like as I have several more projects.

Lack of man power, lack of resources.

Maybe Just Too much work and not enough time.

Reasons could be many.

Mis-mamagement is rampant in SEO industry

With bad goal setting and not enough research into the clients business.

With no real project tracking / reporting, most SEO are in just for the ride.

But everything is not black and white.

There are good, Hardworking SEO people out there also.

Thats why the world keeps moving.

Hire an SEO in your area so you can go to their office and see what type of operation they have before paying money.

Good Advise

Should prefer an SEO in your area, and one who is also free, has time to put into your project.

Some of them are over committed already.

then if the seo is in your area, then you can call on him and check up on his progress.

Better than your call being unanswered.

If they promise submission to 500,000 search engines and top 10 listings without even asking you what your targeted keywords are, be suspect...
