Changed URL setting - now no PR

I just recently changed to a "friendly" URL setup on my website builder/host. I went from www.mysite.com/page/page/htm to www.mysite.com/home.html format (and can't go back to the first format). At the time, my home page had a PR of 3, now it's 0. My site is still in the search engines, but mostly with cached urls, that of course when clicked on go to my home page with the new URL. My question is, will Google and Yahoo pick my the "new" URL info and give me back a PR, or am I stuck in the "sandbox" or something? and since I'm finally in the DMOZ, is the new URL going to have any effect on the search results? Any suggestions besides "patience?"
    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Better have 301's in place. Other than that PR is URL dependant so a PR 0 is natural for any new page on the toolbar.

    About 301s

My site is built/hosted by a website that provides the templates and service. When I go to edit a page, it offers the "option" to change each individual page to a "friendly URL" format. It states that by doing so, it would help with PR because it goes from a htm to a html format. All the encoding is done on the host's back end. All I do is enter in what I want the page to be named. (I hope I'm making sense). When I'm in "edit mode", the url is www.mysite.builderspot . com/home.html. I purchased my domain name from a registry and have it pointed to their isp. So how do I check, or ask, about the 301 (that's a redirect right)?

Ask the host if there is an option to do that. My guess is the answer will be "no". In that case, as I understand your situation, there's not a lot you can do. I gather you can't recreate the old directory structure?
