Hi Janeth,

Well, I really couldn't say what's wrong
since the SWF movie "plays".

My quess is that there is a php piece to
the swf movie that "handles" the interaction.
IF so, you need to make sure all the appropriate
php stuff is loaded (and that your host/server can
handle php).

Ok I will look into that I guess the way I asked that was pretty stupid seeing as how everything is locked in flash

I sent you an e-mail, but it is probably better for other people to learn, so if you put the information about the chat room here, or where you got it from, I will have a look. Seems that I read about text files being configured for some 'pre-built' flash pages to be 'programmed' with for the urls in it.
But that was a static arrangement, so i think that, likt vwebworld says, there is server side use of php or maybe perl.
I need more lessons! Give me something to practice on! lol

I will post it here. Although we did get the chat room to work now the customer wants us to break it into different rooms but I will post the information here
