They have hit again, no reports really to hand yet, I'll keep you all posted. But one story say's that people actually chased a bomber trying to leave the scene. 4 Underground stations have been closed.

I'd like to send my sympathies to the UK. Luckily, premilinary reports all indicate this has been more on the nuisance versus destructive scale. That does not mitigate the acts, it is just a sigh of relief that casualties seem minimal - as few as one.
What is really remarkable to me is that London reacted very, very well; it was a calculated and calm response, not an over-reaction.
I applaud the citizens and their government for an awesome display in a saged, mature and immediate response.

Glad to see you report on it as opposed to be in it. News over here is very sketchy too.Originally Posted by ctabuk

The whole of the Northern line was closed, many streets were cordonned off, and the majority of London's commuters seemed mostly concerned with how they would complete their journeys.
A massive police presence was apparent in all areas. Only one casualty reported so far, and they are not seriously hurt - thankfully!

It's starting to sound like a second wave may have been planned and explosive compounds were mixed at the same time, but the compounds stabilized over the last 2 weeks, so that all that went off were the detonators.
That's just a Mechanical Engineers opinion based on limited International news we rcv here..

Sounds very plausible Ken.
The police are certainly in possession of several unexploded devices. Consequently, there's plenty of forensic evidence to hopefully help them track down the perpetrators.

Let's hope the thrawted attempts today only lead to better identification as you'd indicated!

We here at the home office in Lexington, Ky. are glad to see our English brethren are relatively unscathed. Timely updates from Ctabuk, paulhiles and others are appreciated.
Thanks again for your posts.
I am so sick and tired of this bullshit. I hope y'all catch the guys who are doing this and strap them to something awful--like Baby Spice.
Anyway, hang in there. One day we'll end this scourge on humanity.

Paul,
Looks like that is the way it's playing out, thank God!
I known for a long time about the extreme prowess and reputation that Scotland Yard has, but I heard about another agency, I think it was "GM-1", "IM-1"or something like that.
Who are they, and what is their expertise? Are they like our "Secret Service"?
Just curious,
