    Personally, for my searches . . .

Personally, for my searches, I'm not using MSN. I feel almost trapped into using MS product that I use now. I don't want to use them even more!

As awebmaster though I will definetly keep an eye on them, and submit to them!

I haven't really used Yahoo or MSN enough to have an official position about them. I do know that when I did a search for "55 gallon aquarium stands" in both, I got similar results that included a few spam ridden pages that were junk.

As for MS' business practices, I don't understand that logic myself. If you don't like IE, you can get Firefox, Netscape, Opera, etc. If you don't like WMP, you can get win amp, itunes, or real player. If you don't like office, you can get open office, word perfect, or corel. The choices of product are out there, I just find it sad that people perfer to complain about the inclusion of these products in an OS when the other options are available and free.

    Well hmmm....
I rank very well on MSN, but I see alot of crap sites ranking high as well. MSN is VERY suspect to mass links even spam links.

Just check out the #1 for gift baskets.
    http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q...=71&FORM=PERE7

Over half of their links are spammed messageboards, forums, bulletinboards, as shown below:

    For example:
    http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q...-US&FORM=CVRE9

    http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q...-US&FORM=CVRE3

    http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q...-US&FORM=CVRE4

This would not happen on Google, period.

It seems these are fake documents as well. Most of these links also have some DirectTV link in there but the links are always direct to their sites while the others are reply's etc. Pure spammer nothing more and yet MSN rewards this crap with a #1. Oh please!

    MSN vs. Yahoo vs. Google

I gues like everyone else I'm addicted to using Microsoft product. When it comes to browsing I use Firefox almost exclusively. That is, until I come across a site that assumes the whole world uses IE.

I would like someone to launch a rival package to Microsoft office. I'm old enough to have grown up on Lotus 123. But somehow Microsoft has become the generic package for office dwellers.
