Can you use them both on the same page? Few Google AdSense ads and an Amazone one?

You can try.
I don't know for how long because in against adsense Terms and Conditions.
You can't put on the same page with adsense other PPC staff.
That's not correct.
The AdSense TOS does not forbid other ads on the same page - only ads that are in direct competition.
In the case of Amazon, I emailed AdSense when I first got an account to ask them to check a site which now had both AdSense AND Amazon banners. I received a reply (very quickly, I might add - in less than 24 hours) to say I was not violating any of their TOS.
That site has been carrying AdSense plus Amazon banners now for about a year and a half.
Yup.
I used to carry Amazon ads as well as Google Adsense. (I dropped the Amamzon stuff as it wasn't working out very well).
Adsense is contextual advertising, Amazon affliate advertising is not. Therefore - no conflict :)
When all else fails, go to the source and check out Google AdSense Program Policies. If that isn't clear for any reason, then go the minstrel route and ask Google.
[side note] I'm like paul ... ran affiliate ads for a year with little to nothing to show for it ... now run 98% GoogleAds with a monthly check :) - but there's nothing forbading you from doing both. Another reason I began moving away from the affiliate ads, many of them are cumbersome code that does not validate.
