Hi shailys,
I do affiliate program PR for a living so here are some ideas. Some affiliate forums allow free or paid program announcements you just need to find the ones that do. Feel free to post a short descriptive overview here, with a link to your affiliate page for more info.
Submit to all the top affiliate directories. Very tedious and some are so over saturated and under staffed they either won’t take listings or there are so many competing sites you kind of get lost. I know a service that can do it for you if you prefer to source this tedious talk out.
One REALLY good option I recently discovered is a submission to the Affiliate Programs Directory NETWORK. You get listed in all 5 of their high traffic directories. I have my 5 Star site listed there and get lots of good targeted traffic. One form and your program instantly gets listed on all 5 high traffic directories. Very good deal! Here's the affiliate program merchant listing page with all the info. http://info.affiliateprograms.com/
Then also you can search Google to find top sites that sell similar products and do a short VERY personalized invite to join yours. I don't do ANY email recruiting because it's tricky and some affiliates consider it SPAM. I know companies that will do the email recruiting I could refer you to though.

Make a listing in my search engine optimized directory. You get your own page with keywords, base URL input, download URL input (when applicable), affiliate signup URL input and as long a description as you desire. I'm currently in the process of setting up an RSS feed that displays the latest entries into the directory. This feed is will then be disseminated to the top 50 RSS directories. Good luck!
Another smart pro-active move by Top-Affiliate!I'm currently in the process of setting up an RSS feed that displays the latest entries into the directory. This feed is will then be disseminated to the top 50 RSS directories.
Thanks Stephen!

Thanks... that was great help...I am doing more research into affiliates and will keep updating as I find anything new...By the way.. datafeed provides affiliates with direct product links - including pictures, descriptions and prices, which take customers right to the product instead of just sending them to the home page with a standard banner. This results in fewer clicks and much higher conversion rates...
