Hi there!

Would anyone be kind enough to review my site?

Its a 4images image gallery management system and there nothing much i can do about the internals cuz i am poor at PHP :(

Although comments like "readability is poor" .. "change skin" .. "make THIS category as well" are most welcome :D

the first page of your site looks pretty cool. Then I click a link and I'm in a boring image gallery. Maybe at least match the inside of your site with the home page.

also once you are in the gallery there is no easy way to get back to your home page.

In my opinion the splash page is unnecessary. It didn't really explain what the site was and the little note in the pink box seemed a bit desperate to me, like you're begging for friends or something.
(Not a position of strength, in other words)

Maybe something more like: Meet babes, meet hunks, join the fray! We're Hot! Hot! Hot!

Incorporate the front page graphic into the gallery pages.

I appreciate your taking out time to review the site :)

what i have gathered from thwe responses is
> the site design is inconsistent. On one hand we have a jazzy splash page that (may be) raises the expectation of the visitor that jhe is into a colorful site and on the other is the gallery whose design doesnt go with the main page.

Also snowflakegal, i liked your idea of being descriptive rather than demanding people; I would really appreciate if you could give me some cool text for the pink box :)

To solohelp:
when you are inside the gallery, say in some sub-category, theres a kind of 'navigation-menu' on top left; whose first link is HOME.
May be you missed out on that one...

The galleries design depends on skin of the gallery, so i am now out humting for some colorful ones; so this fault in the site can be ignored for now ... :)

Look at the wording that your competition is using.
Read the text of dating service ads, and other places that invite people to join in. You'll see they are always upbeat and positive. NEVER let them to see you sweat!
