Hi,
I'm in the process of making a wholesale directory and i need to know how i can add a site search to search for links within my site only. Is there anywhere i could do this for free, or maybe a low cost?

Is it just searching the database? Have you tried looking at a few scripts over at Hotscripts? There are a number over there

yes just my site. I've searched for many site searches on google etc. and all of them are more like search engines rather than what i need. I need one where just say google.com is in my directory and someone types in google in the search box, a link to a page of my site where google.com and the description would be listed and ofcourse my page design.

If anyone no's of a site that would do this for me please let me know.

I can't speak for the quality of any of these, since when I need to build search engines, I do them myself based on whatever needs my clients have.

However, the one I've seen used most often is Atomz. It's free and it seems to produce relevant results.

Atomz is good. I have used it in the past. We developed our own so people can stay on our site without seeing any advertisements. There are also now scripts that you can add, like ASP Site Search that might work well for you also
