Google ranking

As far as google is concerned...I've heard many things said to be true in regards to keywords. How many should I truely have in my metatags? I've heard a few is better, making them very specific...that is what I'm doing now. I appear to be stuck at 5/10 on my page ranking, my Alexa score is currently falling...what is your thought?

who are your customers and what are they looking for?

Answer that question and your keywords and content should be adjusted accordingly.
