What are your Goals for 2004

Hello All! I thought i would start this with New Years creaping up on us quickly.

What are your Goals for 2004?

Being I opened the door I'll start off. I am hoping to build my 100th site in 2004. Only 12 more to go and I have 3 on their way out at the moment. It will be my 11th year in the industry and quite a year at that. Secondly Im hoping to stay employeed through christmas 2004. I have a bad tradition of getting pink slips for christmas that I hope to defeat.

Ok now its your turn! lets hear it people what do you hope 2004 brings?

I've sat back and watched Steven and his wonderful wish fulfilling thread, thinking THAT is what Christmas is all about. Knowing that I couldn't wish for anything more than the true humanity being displayed in that thread.

I've poked fun at my holiday plans and even at my family, unbeknownest to them. I hope? Knowing that the true plan of Christmas isn't how much you get, but realizing how blessed you already are. Hoping that people will see, even if for just a second, that NO ONE can make them feel special, they can only remind them that they are!

And now......to find this thread on goals for the new year. You're a mind reader ofoglada. :)

This past year has been just as wonderful as it has been horrible. The beginning of 2003 taught me that miracles happen even when you sleep through them. It also taught me that sometimes it takes dying to realize that you weren't truly living. But.....2003 also showed me that you can make the most unlikely of dreams come true. I've watched 3 dreams come true this year that I NEVER would have believed would come true.

My Goal(s) for 2004? I would love to say that all my goals are business oriented, but that would be a lie. I have hundreds of little goals, but the one I find most important - I want to help one person realize their true worth. Everyone has a minimum of one quality that needs to be shared, they just don't always see it. :)

On the lighter side, and with me there is ALWAYS a lighter side! I want to be on one of those late night shows, like David Letterman, etc. I haven't decided what for though? Maybe for writing? I wonder if my Great Great Grandma Laura Ingalls Wilder would mind if I used her name to get there? As long as I don't have to write about Little houses or big woods!!! ;)

    Hm, 2004 goals...

    1. Learn that there are more than 3 colors on the color wheel ( blue, orange and grey ).
    2. Finally start spinning at the local clubs, and change this town's culture finally. Lord knows we need it.
    3. Get 2 techniques 1200's so I can play the records I got in Chicago.
    4. Try to be a little less selfish so I can try to have a real relationship.
    5. Finish producing the cd I've been working on.
    6. All the unmentionable things I want to do :)

Ok, these are more like resolutions rather than goals

I'm hoping to go through 2004 without one day of unemployment. I've never experienced that (always had some time between projects... sometimes too long).

Also I hope to travel to Venezuela and meet my in-laws for the first time in my life. I've been married for almost 3 years and have yet to meet them in person. Made for an easy dating experience though. ;0)

Plus who can ever forget Steve Martin's requests. (hint: third post)

My goals are pretty simple, really, just to finish what I've started over the last year. That means getting top ten rankings for 2 different sites, one with the keyword "Arabic" the other with the keyword "Cash". My problem recently has bee having way more jobs than I have time to complete. I'd been grabbing everything as soon as possible, but now that I've built up some of a name, I can start to calm down and accept only what I want and have time to finish up the rest and do a good job.

Goals? Luckily I actually have some.

    Lessee...

    1. Be more organized/tidy & have places to put things
    2. Double my sales
    3. Find more inner peace & banish the chaos from my life... as much as possible anyway (see #1)
    4. Get out to more "meet & greet" events
    5. Streamline and optimize my site so that I'm the Pagan/Wiccan Amazon.com. 8-)
    6. Get more sleep

Hey.... why is it that half the goals are in direct opposition to the other half of the goals...? Hm. Maybe that's how I got where I am now... 8-\

    Goals

My goals for the upcoming year will be to run my business more efficiently and productively. I've experienced major growing pains and been overwhelmed by referrals. I want to be more organized and less stressed. I need to figure out how to administer a growing client base. Any suggestions?

How do you administer that many sites? I've got about 30 and they are all active. Maybe I'm prolonging the inevitable of hiring a full time employee. Good luck to you in the coming year.

Great goals folks! Here's wishing that everyone gets what they aim for!

Personally, I've got a LAUNDRY LIST of 2004 goals, but I'll keep it short here:

    1) Completely re-design my 2 web sites to be more user friendly, get A LOT more traffic, and get my product offerings in front of the folks who need them.

    2) Turn my business into THE fitness resource for my town, Orange Park, FL. I am the only full-time independent personal trainer in these parts that doesn't work for a gym, and I aim to leverage that to make my biz a RESOURCE, not just a service.

    3) Read #2, and add a bunch of dollar signs... :)

    4) Use my site, my skills, and my experience to spend my first complete year as an independent contractor, and in so doing, have more time and more money for my family.

    5) Spend less time planning, and more time DOING!!
