    A good email marketing tool

    Hi everyone,

I have used a lot of email marketing services with my company (ETech Group). But most of them let me down at the end.

I'm writing this post to see if anyone knows a very good email marketing service with a very good customer support, which he uses for more than a few months, and that he recommends on.

Thank you very much in advanced!

    Dan,
    CEO ETech Group.

    Hi Dan,

I've used a lot of email marketing solutions as well (constant contact, vertical response, Getresponse Plus, and the list goes on... :)

I've signed up for a new company called IntelliMailer about 4 months ago and it is by far the best I've seen. It is very easy to use, and has very nice features.

    Here's the URL: http://www.intellimailer.com

Hope you will find what you need there.

    Ciao,
    Noga.

I've been using the IntelliContactPro people for the past fourteen months and find their service and support excellent.
(You can find their homepage at http://www.intellicontact.com/index.php .)

    Hey everyone,

I took a quick glance at the sites mentioned. However, these solutions are only good if you create monthly newsletters (or similar recurring email marketing solutions). If someone is looking for clients who wish to email quarterly or sparatically, I highly suggest using Vertical Response.

And, for the record, I never recommend MSN's BCentral. The service is at 'par', but every client database submission must be resent out and opted in again. To me, and many of my other clients, this is a horrific idea. Leaving email marketing up to your clients AGAIN almost never results in a good email campaign.

Re: A good email marketing tool

In selecting an email marketing service, we need to clearly define what you want.

    * Are you looking for an agency to write the copy and manage the e-mailings?

    * Do you want a service that will also aid you in building your e-mailing list?

    * Do you simply want a platform to manage your own list and e-mailings?

In today's environment, with most networks having ramped up their filters to protect their users from online abuse, many permission based marketers are reporting any where from 30 to 50% of their messages not making it to their intended recipients, let alone into the recipients' inbox.

    * Therefore, if you are managing your own list and e-mailings, whether you are using an email service provider, or a server side solution, you also need the ability to track your e-mailings, asses your delivery rates and have access to the needed expertise to improve your delivery rates.

This is different than knowing the open rate for a particular mailing, or how many people clicked a link within your e-mail.

    * Also you need to ensure that your practices and e-mail messages comply with the applicable rules.

    * In addition, you will want the ability to integrate your e-mailings with an RSS feed.

For those who want to manage their mailings, but also want access to the needed expertise, I would suggest using an email service provider.

There are two services I will recommend. The first one is Bighip and the second one is AWeber.

I have been using AWeber since August and Bighip since October. Both offer excellent customer service.

In making these recommendations I admit a bias. The link I have provided for AWeber is an affiliate link. I have been given access to Bighip in exchange for providing ongoing comment and review.

There are other good providers on the market. My reason for referencing AWeber and Bighip is simple. I am familiar with their service and feel comfortable in recommending them.

    Trusting this helps.

Are you looking for a web-based service whereby you pay normally on a per-email basis and they send your email messages or a software tool that allows you to manage and send your own email messages?
