Our site is www.ewebdevelopment.net (in my sig)

Your Site is still Indexed and showing 327 IBLs - Better than most!

When you type in "ewebdevelopment" we used to be listed first... Now if you do so - we're no where to be found.
Also, Our rankings are gone as well. We're no longer anywhere within the top 1,000in SERPS...
Wait 2-3 days, i think, google is doing something with index
Ditto. Every single keyword not longer ranked. Google is so frustrating.Originally Posted by bbott

Come on guys... Keep your "panties" on for a while, and let's see where it lands. We are all dealing with personal Sites at least. Many of us are dealing with clients also, through these changes.
Sit back, smoke a cigar and have a congac, they go well together, the SE wars are a great spectator sport!

We had a site in #1 position for months in a huge industry sector. About a year ago, about the same time the site disappeared and hasn't been seen on Google since. After multiple postings on this board and contacting Google directly we were not able to get a clear answer. In fact from Google's responses it sounds like they have no idea why as well.
We're still #1 on Yahoo!, MSN, AltaVista and the rest. Go figure.

RG,
I hope you don't take offense to my candid reply here but....
1) You do not have enough HTML body verbiage to merit a good ranking in today's SE environment, in any SE.
2) I may have missed them but you don't have DTDs ( Document Type Declarations). That is the first prayer for cross-browser compatability!
3) Let’s just get right to the core… What happened to the Titles, Descriptions, metatags etc..I hope you understand “Channeled Logic”!
4) You have at least 102 errors on your home page HTML according to http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...iewgolf.com%2F . It’s been rumored that MSN is granting higher rankings to W3C Validated (Clean Coded) Sites) and quite flagerantly, I must state that my indications are that, that at this time, I cannot disprove that.
The search engine algs are based on solid logic application, even and especially with the recent addition of supplemental Artifical Intelligence in the “Allegra” update...
CHANNEL IT!
That’s all there is to it!
Other Moderators have been reprimanded for taking issue with “primary” issues in the past, and it has been recommended that we be cool and set back in an easy chair and deal with these “primary” issues with a “cool head”, but this one is real serious. There are many resources here at WPW for anyone really seeking knowledge to get along on the “bandwagon”. Granted, it does take a little research and reading. We volunteer our time here and just don’t have the time to take from revenue generating resources to re-answer questions in duplicity and triplicate.
PM me if you want to take it private, but who knows, Am I being too hard?… this discussion might benefit others too.
Starting with the concepts of “Logic Based Software” and “Channeled Logic for the SEs”, do you have any questions?
Let’s talk again when you get your “ducks in a row”! I am working to get mine there too!, as feverishly as I can.
“Ducks in a row”, “Ordered Logic”, “Search Engine Algorithms”…. Hope I am not being too arcane or harsh here! Beleive me I am in the process of applying to myself and Mountain Eagle Marketing (my company) too, right now!
Definitely get rid of the "pop-ups" while you are at it!
Have you considered taking your Site to the "Submit Your Site For Review" Forum yet?
Sorry guy!
This one is "bloody".
Best Regards,
Ken
umm, no offence, but how many people are going to type ewebdevelopment in ?

Ain't that the truth! One day we were #1 for our target keywords, a week later we were on page 2, then the next month we're found at #1 again - same thing for our clients.the SE wars are a great spectator sport!
Just ride with the algorithm, baby. I enjoy my SE wars with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc...
