Yahoo, MSN, ETC. Ranking Good- Google BAD

I have had really good luck for Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, AskJeeves. I have ranked no. 1 alot out of the keywords that I am focused on, but I can't show up anywhere on google to save my life. I was wondering (newbie question, here it comes) what and the world do i have to do to get on google.

    my website, www.michiganseo.com

if you have any ideas what i can do to make my site look better or work better, then by all means let me know.

You're only showing one backlink. That's your problem.

A lot of work to do!

Hi there MTG! Welcome to WebProWorld!
I would go along with the previous reply, Google does look kindly on sites with plenty of inbound links. Try to ensure you include keywords in your anchor text wherever possible.

To be honest, my first impression is that you used to be a networking repair company, but you're now branching into web design and SEO. If you're really serious about offering SEO services, then you need to be aware that your site will be under scrutiny, so make sure it's well optimised throughout!

There are lots of ways to further optimise your site (far too many to detail in a single post!). Include internal links in your body text (again with good anchor text). Fill up those empty alt tags! Try adding meaningful title text to your menu links. In your services section, you're mixing repairs with SEO - what's that all about?? Separate your service offerings clearly!!

Your site is still fairly new (the domain registered last July), so I would excercise a little patience, however, saying that, it does need quite a lot of work and some serious re-organisation. Learn what you can from the Search Engine Discussion forums here at WPW. Try asking for site reviews, get customer feedback, etc.

    Good luck!

    Paul
