Need Help with Search Programming - On This Forum Before!

I need help with finding a script or a ready-made program that let's me set up a search box on a site, indexes only the site's pages, and can print out search-box performance reports.

I recall seeing a thread or two on WPW a few months back but I lost track of it! If anyone can recall where it is and direct me there, I would appreciate it. If not, I would appreciate any suggestions on this topic.

Several of us have used the Fluid Dynamics search Engine. It is a beautiful thing. You spider a page, then it outputs all the links on that page, you check them of and continue.
It is very controllable what you index, and the resulte are in a Google looking format when someone searches.

I can't remember if it keeps track of the searches, but I think so...

The FDSE search log contains information about each search performed. The log includes the time, the IP address of the visitor, the search terms used, the realms selected, the number of documents searched, and the number of documents found.

In the freeware mode, administrators can view the history of all searches. In the trial and registered shareware modes, administrators can view a history and also view tables that show searches grouped by keyword, time, visitor, etc.
