    talkfreelance.com needs you!

    Hey everyone, i have just opened my forum
    (link removed : no self-promotion, please)
    Each month free advertising will be available to the poster who has contributed the most.

    We are in the process of revamping the skin and adding some additional features such as the store hack and a news feed.

    With a large advertising campaign set to start next week, we are very confident that our forum will be a great place to look for freelance work and discussion in a friendly and active community!

    Just as a matter of interest, I tried to get to your site just now after reading your post and it would seem I have to register before even being able to see what forums are in there.

    Not trying to be too picky or anything, but I don't think you will find too many people keen to do that. I know I'm not.

    Good luck with the site though, from what you said in your post, it sounds like a good idea.

    Forum

    I just checked out the Forum. I thought the contest section was interesting as I have some T shirt design I need doing.
    Unfortunately I got a bit cranky when I was constantly sent back to the registration form because I did not have a username of a referer that sent me there . . This is a silly waste of time, yes I know the information is useful . . But is it wise to tell new users that collecting information is more important that getting a new user aboard . . .
    I admit I waste a lot of my time in a good few places ( a lot more than I should) But wasting time should be my decision . . not the web site that I am visiting.

    I qwould make that question (optional) before you loose more potential browsing users.. . .
