Yahho displys my website when I search for it, but it doesn't have a description of the contnets. Google on the other had does describe the website. Can anyone help me with this??

Is this a new website? Yahoo! is very slow in indexing pages, and sometimes takes a few months to get around to updating their index. Google is faster at keeping up with changes.
I would give it some more time.

The website has been up for a month and a bit. But I have only recently added the keywords and contents meta tags.
My sites been up for 6 months and Yahoo has only indexed 25% of it :(

My experience is, if the site is listed in Y! directory then it will index little early.
