I second that Paul. And I'd like to reiterate so many of our WPW members' comments and say what a great thread this has been, and thank Steven again for all his efforts in making this thing happen!
And yes, as the wish list comes to a close, dont think it stops here. The other forums are still alive & well with people to help with problems & requests :-)
Hope so see you all around the boards guys :-)

More seriously, I've never even looked at Dreamweaver - I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn something about it...
Does the ability to grant wishes stop simply because the holiday season is over? Steven did a very selfless and wonderful thing by starting this thread and maybe it will end as a thread on WPW, but I hope we all incorporate it into our lives in some form.
Happiness, caring, HUMANITY wasn't meant to be a once a year event. :)
Thanks for posting that, Wenwilder... oddly, I was thinking something similar late tonight as I was driving home after dropping off my youngest son after his Christmas holiday with me... I was listening to "A Long December" and "Goodnight Elizabeth" by Counting Crows and thinking about how much energy and anger people put into preparing for Christmas and how what it's really all about gets lost in the rage of Christmas shopping and Boxing Day sales... and then what? do we all just go back to being miserable to one another for another year?
One of the things I will remember about 2003 is meeting Steven here and watching what he did in this forum - the only thing any of us leave behind us when we leave this life is the legacy of how we have touched others - everything else is ultimately meaningless. And Steven - well I don't mean to sanctify him - I don't know him well enough to identify in him the faults and shortcomings that most of us have - but at least in this forum he has set an example that is going to be a hard act to follow and one that I wish could be a model for the Christmas season instead of the commercialism that assails most of us...
I'm glad I was able to meet you folks...
I knew there was a reason I liked you Minstrel. A Counting Crowes fan can't be bad. :) On any given iccasion you can pop out the CD in my CD player and you will likely find a Counting Crows CD.
Thank you Minstrel for the kind words. Thank you for clarifying that I have faults (plenty off them in fact) otherwise we might start seeing some online religions popping up. ;) hehehe

since this thread is closing, I wanted to thank the people who made my wish come true.
Netcastles came up with the design that is going on the website - thank you, thank you
Matauri and JMac came up with the other designs which I'm planning on using in print form.
Thank you again Steven for this thread, and thank you everyone who contributed.

My wish is for my kids to have a Christmas this year. They are teenagers. Every year I hear the same thing - "they're old enough to understand". I'm in my 40's and still would like to find something under the tree on Christmas morning. I have good kids. No drugs, drinking, gangs, etc. My one daughter was raped and now has a beautiful daughter. Although she's too young to understand what it means, her 1st Christmas should be something of memories for her to see later in life. I am disabled on Social Security (812 a month) and my one daughter works (about 600 a month)Doesn't go far for 5 people :( If anyone can help - please email me. I would really like my kids to have a reason to put up a tree this year. They haven't put one up for 3 years. It's so hard as a mom to see them try to put up a good front. They've never had the typical trappings of teenagers. No CD players or stereos, they don't have cell phones, but they would really like computers. They want to go to college so computers would be really helpful for them. They need clothes badly. I hate asking, but I know that there are people out there that understand my frustration. Santa must love teenagers too :( God bless you and yours.
