Could I get opinions of my cookie cutter shopping cart?

    Its located here:
    https://ssl3.chi.us.securedata.net/e...rchantmanager/

    The site will become:
https://www.egameaddiction.com/merchantmanager/ when we buy an unshared SSL soon.

I know its cookie cutter, but what do you all think? I cannot change much in the way of layout, but there are some things I can change.

We originally had the cart: www.egameaddiction.com/store (cart 32 shopping cart) but there were too many limitations and adding product was too slow.

our customers said they liked the https://ssl3.chi.us.securedata.net/e...rchantmanager/ shopping cart better, so we changed.

It is a cookie cutter site, I don't like that, but we do not have a lot of choice right now.
Either way, we are getting decent sales at this time. I am curious as to what you all think.

my main page: www.egameaddiction.com is being redone very soon, so please do not comment on that yet :)

just an FYI, we were trying to get onto a salescart.com SQL shopping cart, but they couldn't help get it running right (it has been 1 month now) so we are returning that cart.

    Thanks for your time!

Being an avid video game player I can say your cookie-cutter shopping cart looks just fine.

It's clear, easy to navigate and it looks clean and professional. If you are already getting good sales then I think you are all set.

I really cannot think of much to improve (or what you are able to change). The category layout is good (all can be reached without having to scroll down). The new products section looks good (maybe use better pictures if you can - some are a little dark). I would rename "Addictive Product" on the right side to maybe "Top 10 Items" or something (I wasn't sure what it was at first), but I like that it's there. And the featured review is good too.
Also you can get cleaner credit card logos from each respective site (yes it takes a little digging to actually find them) but the ones you have aren't too bad. Lastly, I like to put a link on my PayPal verified logo that shows I am really a verified premier business account with PayPal.
You probably can't do much with the actual HTML code. But if you can expand your meta tags it might help.

I hope that helps. Nice job.

    Thank you for your time!

I'll definitely look into the images issue. For awhile, we couldn't seem to get good pictures, it was the strangest thing. It took us 10 shots to even get 1 good one... I'll definitely look into getting brighter pictures.

If you notice, when you try to "click to enlarge" the image does not enlarge. We were having problems with that at first and the we couldn't figure out what the problem was. We also had a load time problem for 56K users. We found out that the "click to enlarge" image actually resizes for the images on the main page showing new product.... BUT kept the same Kb size. So we now resize all of our images to be small for the pictures of the product. Then all larger images are on the "products web page." There is a link when you click into the products. We have 1+ images of the product at 400x300px each image.

That is the best work around we could find. The BIG reason for changing to this cart (besides 95% of our customers said to do it) is that we can add double the product in the same amount of time (compared to our last cart)..... this is a big issue as we still have over 1000 products MINIMUM to get on the cart, and more coming each week.

Now, we just have to figure out how to market the site.

Even though sales are good.... they need to be a lot better. We are still tight on funds, and sometimes there are lag days of no sales at all. We just need more traffic coming in.

Once again, thank you for the opinions :)

If anyone else has comments, please do share them as well.
