Exactly right marciezoob in many cases even here in aus it it mostly not because we can't afford cable or dsl it is just that it is not available so the idea that you should exclude visitors below a certain connection speed because they "won't be able to afford to buy cause they supposedly can't afford anything faster"

is a completely ludicrous one.

Excellent responses and very good information to bring back to work and share with my co-worker.

Maybe I should have explained that my co-worker is an officer in the Uruguayan Air Force, and with the way the economy is going down here, he may be right for this part of the world (I don't know), but it is obviously not a statement that can be applied to every part of the world.
