Any shopping cart programmers out there? Consider the simple project referenced here:

    Custom Shopping Cart

    Dear Mr. Ambassador,

I create custom shopping cart solutions starting at $450. Briefly the features include: Very easy to use, unlimited categories, and unlimited products, UPS or USPS or custom look up table based shipping, any combination of mail-order, PayPal, or your own choice for payment gateway, invoice processing and customer info management, and more.

Each installation is unique to the client needs and integrated into your existing web design. For instance, if you determine you want dynamically generated meta tags based on catalog searches for SEO purposes, this sort of functionality can be included at design time.

There are lots of possibilities and best thing is the modular approach is flexible and scalable so new functions can be written as your good idea manifest themselves.

I have over 20 instances of my shopping cart or CMS systems currently online and generating business for my clients. Some of these are listed for your review at www.solenitymedia.com as well as more information on the shopping cart system.

Call me if you want to talk about your project in detail – Doug Hillman 888-689-2730 ext. 2.

Thank you Solenity Media. However, your website's featured clients exhibit online stores (i.e., shopping carts) with URLs like:

    http://www.powerline.no/SCMain.asp?id=3066

    and

    http://www.judilessin.com/Preview.asp?ID=42

For several reasons, all of which are publicly documented, these URLs are not absolutely search engine friendly. The URLs can, of course, appear in some search results (not all) but are not absolutely SEF. The Solenity shopping cart; therefore, does not meet the "absolutely search engine friendly" requirement requested in this post.

    Thank you anyway.

From my own experience google handles single attributes well, ie http://www.domain.tld/store.php?item=whatever
it's when it gets multiple parameters via & or session id's that it spits the dummy out.
    ie, http://www.domain.tld/store.php?cate...item=whatever&
    sid=12345678901234567890123456789012

Perhaps you would be better off using an existing cart and getting a mod_rewrite expert to adapt it to urls like
    http://www.domain.tld/store/category.../whatever.html
and do a check for user agent and not assign session id's to search bots.

    Just a thought.

    Hi ambassador,

As an email subscriber to webpronews, it is my first time to browse your forums. If you are looking for a simple catalog which uses seo friendly urls i can make a script for you in php. My recent test project was for an SEO copywriter from Australia. I made an article script for him, check this simple script i made for him free-recipes.info, the urls are seo friendly. Just a plain script with category and articles. He would use the script to boost seo ranking for his clients. Well if it needs to be converted to a catalog, it would just add pictures of a product.

If your kinda interested email me at carey.dayrit@gmail.com

    Thanks !
Hope to get a response from you.
