    mouseover fix

Does anyone have an answer to this question please.

I have navigation links that change colour on mouseover and have no underline. Currently I'm using CSS which appears at the top of each page. I'd like to do this without the CSS (I'm trying to learn CSS and will put all this and more in a style sheet in 6-8 weeks time) to lose some code and make each page smaller. Is there a java alternative?

    Thankyou,

    pne

Yes there is a java alternative, but that is even a bigger chunk of code than the CSS one, and the search engines won't follow the java links. I would recommend that you stick with the CSS option.

Here here! I thought for one moment, that pne's original question might have been a 'trick question' but I guess not! Stick with CSS, you know it makes sense!

pne - any help you might need in putting together an external stylesheet, please post here.

    Eightfifteen and Paul,

Most certainly not a trick question. Will certainly post for guidance re CSS. I don't know where the hell I'd be without this forum!

Stay with CSS, it's your friend! I would pull the CSS that you have at the top of each page, and use one external CSS file for all of your pages.

    matauri,

Wise advice. I'll stick with what I've got till I've learnt enough about external style sheets to implement.

    As for No. 3 weeeeelllll,
