I've just done a review of a site about Key West at http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=25311 and have noticed an interesting feature of Firefox.
The site, compiled in MS Office (!), comprises wholly of images, including text. Check out how the text looks in IE then use a Mozilla based browser, I used Firefox. The text looks awful on Mozilla but OK in IE.
Is Mozilla faster because it actually further optimises images? Here in the UK there's been a lot of hype about a program called OnSpeed which is supposed to match broadband on a normal dial-up connection but it's a trick because they really over-optimise images to the point where you can't see what it is. Is Firefox doing the same?
I really like Firefox and hadn't noticed a reduction of image quality until I saw this site.
What do you reckon?
