    PPC Test

I'm new to the game of internet marketing and have a set budget. I want to use keywords for my site on google and yahoo for ppc. Is there a simple site that I can go to si I can see what the current bidding is on the keywords I want to use and how many times a day those keyword are used? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Overture

Overture has some tools that can do this. They get their data from all the SE's that use overture ads. It's free for anyone to use.

You can see it here. The Search Term Suggestion Tool uses the previous month's data, so divide by 30 to see daily estimate. The View Bids Tool will show you what keywords are going for. I've never advertised through Google, so I have no idea if they have something similar for advertisers, but I imagine the data would be similar.

Anyway, that should give you something to play with.

    Good luck.

You may want to use WordTracker as well. It's a paid tool but I find it's well worth it since it not only includes Overture (although for some reason they still refer to it as GoTo), but Webcrawler as well, thus providing a little more raw data to work from. You might even find phrases that have a low PPC value and a high CTR with it that you wouldn't find with Overture.
