I've been wondering about the undeniably important backlinking, how it would be best performed.

I'm aware (at least in the belief) that links should be provided by the host owner in the manner: "page x, text link: x." So that the most benefit of them can be gained.

This has lead me to pondering how to offer the ready-made links to potential site owners. For me the best would be filename+textlink+title that would correspond to the h1 title in that specific page. I may be wrong of course.

But how do you execute this in action, create a subpage/dynamic page for those that want to link, do it like it's been done at web pro world, providing a single link page with images?

Any opinions?

The easiest by far, would be of course to provide a link at the bottom of the page, to be copied. The reason for my hesitation is my ordinary customers that I don't want to scare off with irrelevant (to the article at hand) techno babble?

Any successtories/succesful implementations?
