    A fishtank in the summer

    Hi everyone,
It'd be nice if any one of you can help me out over here. My teenage sister saw a fishtank at her friends' place and decided to get one of her own. But she soon lost interest, and my father and I were stuck with taking care of it. It has been 5 months, and the we have watched all the fishes grow to considerable size. However it's summer now, and you know how an Indian summer can be... well they are now dying one by one and we are pretty much helpless and don't know what to do about it. We don't have much experience taking care of aquariums and fishes, and not much maintenance equipment is available here. I was wondering if anyone of you could throw in a few pointers on how to take care of them. I don't want to see them dying one by one like this.

Well, I have been in the hobby for about 12 years I guess.

What kind of tank/fish are we talking about?
