Page Not Found when I try to go to AdSense

I have been a publisher for Adsense for almost a month, and like many of you, I'm sure, I love checking my daily stats to see how it's doing. Well, for the last 2 days I've not been able to get to the Adsense login page. I have tried typing it in my address bar, tried reaching it via my bookmark and even tried going to google's site and clicking on the advertising link at the bottom and trying to get to it via Google's links, but to no advail. I only get a 404 Error Page Not Found page. After being able to easily access it for almost a month, does anyone know why I can't access it now? And not only on this computer (my laptop), I get the same error page on my desktop. Tonight will make it two days that I've not been able to check and I'm dying to know how I'm doing on click thrus. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get to the Google Adsense Login page or is anyone else having this problem??

    Thanks for any answer

First time poster here. I also had the same problem but I was able to figure it out. Google seemed to have strictly implemented a 128-bit encryption for their secure server. As a result browsers set to communicate with a lower encryption strength would not be able to get into Google's secure server. IEs versions 5.5 and below need to be updated to 128-bit cipher strength. To do this, click HELP on your IE's menu. On the pop-up window, you will see the value of IE's encryption strength beside the words Cipher Strength. Click on the Update Information link if the number is below 128-bit and IE will bring you to a page where you will be able to download the file updates.

    Found the answer

Thanks for the tip. I did go to Microsoft's site and found Encpack_Win2000_EN.exe which allowed me to quickly and easily download the 128 Encription and now I can access adsense just fine. I have Windows2000 which is why I had to find a special encpack ..the regular one for Explorer 6.0 wouldn't work. Hopefully this will help someone else.

I've been doing adsense since last summer. I just figured the adsense server was down for awhile. I downloaded the 128-bit encryption. It worked. Thanks
