The site loads well and the navigation is ok - not sure about the variation in button types. Text to the absolute edge really bothers me. I wouldn't read anything that was not properly laid out, there is so much choice online why read something that feels crammed.

Nice header though your other imagery looks stock in fact I recognized a few of them. Also on bizplat.htm did you edit that image on the lower left in your html editor? It looks disproportionately stretched vertically?

I think it needs more work but it has the makings of a professional site!

    Cheers

I think you definately need to make some margins around the text. Very crammed. I dont really car for te text background. The user knows what site they are at, there's no reason to slow down the page, and remind them every inch. I think it would look good really dark or black, so the center table really stands out.

    Text is padded...

    Hello all,

Text is padded. As for stock images. Well, plagiarism is rampant on the web and I cannot control the mechanism that allows them to steal images that I purchase to use. The windows picture toolbar is a nasty addition to IE 6.

Anybody know how to disable that thing?

I hope that all is going well with all of you please continue to review this site as the users all appreciate your input and how it smoothes out the experience and useablilty of the site.

    Thanks,

    Hi Benjamin,

I still think it looks crammed...

You needn't "Pay" for images LOOK HERE! Scroll down to "Image Bank."

    Crammed?

    Bodhi,

Could you define crammed for me. First you said that it was because it was out to the edge. I agreed with you and fixed the problem. Now you say it is still crammed.

I think that the size of font may have something to do with it, but I made it that way so that the information that I had to exchange could fit on the page.

I went to your site and I like what I see there. Good solid resource for folks looking for things webmaster.

However, I saw good design and I saw assymetries that made me a little nervous. I am not one to be telling on the subject of personal preference and I feel that the diversity that exists on the web is what makes it so cool.

We all see things that are horrendous and we all see things that approach (somehow) the perfect. The vast majority of what thinking people create is most likely acceptable. I believe that you and I fit into that category.

I appreciate your insight and respect your design sense. If you could please share with me your thoughts on "cramming".

I appreciate your offerings of images. I shall direct others to your site. As far as the images on my pages, I will consider changing them around to try and stay fresh. I will however ask you a question. What would you do if somebody clicked and saved an image from your site, or bought that same image from some "stock" photo source and put it on their site? Would that be cause for removing the image from your site? Does this effect things like branding, etc?

    Just wondering...
