    Click Through Rate

    Hi,

Just wondering, what would be a respectable click through rate with Google Adsense?
I know Googles T&C say that individual data cannot be discussed but generally, what is a good/bad CTR?

I have only had Adsense on my site (www.pimms-pages.co.uk) for a few days and the pennies are trickling in - I don't think my site content attracts particularly high-paying advertisers though.

    Thanks for you help,
    Alex Pimm

world wide the CTR is currently about 0,71%.
but that's for all advertising, including banners, buttons etc.

I know that Google's is s'posed to be higher as they are target text ads - that's why I am using them, because they are targeted and hopefully higher CTR.

Not many people will visit a site about guinea pigs and click on banners for increasing site traffic.

I usually get a CTR between .71 and up to 2 ish. I was wondering if you got the .71% from your experiences or from an article or something (I just wanna read an article)

    Over Click Through

I wonder if G automatically boots someone from the program if their % click through is much higher than the average...do they first determine if the clicks are from different IP's?

True. But coincidentally, both of these topics happen to be very dear to my heart.
