It's all fun and games until you get that beautiful woman you've spent all night wooing back to your place, undress her, and find out it's a ladyboy :|

    The easy life

JMac , who I would vote for if she ran for office, I meanwalked carefully, displayed more common sense than all the premiers for the last 25 (at least) years combined when saying:
MikMik - scam welfare? You mean people break the law for a measly $450 a month (BC)? What else are they up to? Don't tell me... do they work "under the table", too?
Reminds me of my Edm. Alberta days when my MOM!, of all people was a member of the opposition NDP and was the 'terror of the question period". I can't recall her name (McLelland?), but the minister of 'Health and Family Services' (I think, but don't bet the farm on it) said that she couldn't understand why people had any problem whatsoever living on $375 a month, that it was a simple matter of 'budgetting' properly, she knew because, get this!!!(I'm quite sure about this part) - She knew it could be done because she had to do it to(budget to get by)!!! cause she only made $100,000 a year!!!!
$100,000/yr is aproximately equal to $375/month, in other words. So of course then, $450/month is about roughly $120,000/year. Did I mention that she was also finance minister at one time?
Babies don't need a vacation, but I still see them at the beach... it pisses me off! I'll go over to a little baby and say 'What are you doing here? You haven't worked a day in your life!'

Well there goes my plans to get rich quick off the provincial Gvmt. How dare these boys take my idea of wondering out from the bush and conning people to care for them. There truely is no honour amonst thieves.

Btw. JMac no one would try to scam welfare that would be illlegal and wrong. I don't know where people get these ideas from, also no one grows pot in BC.

For future reference the sky is pink in my owrld of delussions.

Minstrel - a radio announcer (Herb Morrison) cried out "oh, the humanity, the humanity" as he watched the tragedy of the Hindenberg explosion unfold before his eyes.

MikMik - I've thought of "walking carefully" for political office before but that was in Quebec - I found living here the last five years has tainted me politcally. ("Get it off, get it off!!!")
To quote (sort of) Utah Phillips - "Shopped around for a party. Well, I looked at the Liberals. Decided talking to one is like talking to your refrigerator. You know, the light goes on, the light goes off, it's not going to do anything that isn't built into it. But I'm not going to talk to a conservative any more than I talk to my damn refrigerator. Working for the NDP, now, that's kind of like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic." (Utah is American so he was referring to Republicans and Democrats, respectively.)
You will be the first to know if and when I change my mind, though!
<note to self> Check - one guaranteed vote from MikMik. <cackle> It's all falling into place... excellent.

Greyhawk - tiptoe through the tulips... :-)
Ah yes, "BC bud" - that's just how the US refers to its friends here in British Columbia, doncha know? Did I say "refers" or "reefers"?

    patch of "grass"

I missed it the first time, JMac, re:
No, they fell out of an SUV onto a patch of "grass" and survived on Tostitos and Trail Mix and then emerged from the SuperStore... without having paid for their munchies.
Oh what tangled webs we weave...

It's much better than the "How did that get there? It must have 'fallen' into my pocket!" defense usually employed when aprehended.

    Greyhawk! Re:

I prefer the term of 'alternate reality', inspired by carju1
The WPW server has definately been reading this thread as it either now knows five minutes before I log on that I'm going to log on or theres a second me in a parallel universe that is logging on and the WPW server is shifting universes!!
I personally am quite happy to refer to it as 'denial', which I also understand to mean - the path of 'enlightenment', or, the answer to all my problems!
