Go into Publish Settings, and along the left side will be a list of file types you can save from your Flash document from within the Flash application. You can save it as an SWF file, QuickTime, or EXE. The only difference between the EXE and the SWF file is that the EXE incoprorates the Flash Player with the SWF file so it runs independent of the browser and HTML file. and the viewer does not need to download anything.
