    BabyWearing.com

    BabyWearing.com

This is a very niche market name and many of you may not even know what it means. This term was coined a few years ago by a very well know pediatrician/author and is commonly known among new mothers, especially the natural parenting types, to mean the act of carrying a baby in a sling. I used to have an interest in this kind of biz and bought the name but then got in to another line of work and now it's just sitting there.

This pediatrician/author I mentioned owns a couple other versions but I have the .com. He hasn't developed his and he's had them for quite some time. I emailed him and asked if he'd like it and never heard back. I've had several work at home moms ask for it but they don't offer anything above what I've already paid for registration fees (mostly because they are selling slings out of their homes and don't have much to offer). Anyway, it's paid for a couple more years and I was hoping that since it's a term that is well known among that target group it should be worth at least something.

    Hi Miss beth !

It is quite a niche market you are aiming at which doesn't actually seems to be a very rich market either. The term 'baby wearing' has actually got an Overture count of 280+ which is not much but higher then a lot of other names !
There are actually 3 active bids on the term as well ! (not high, $0.13 per click but still).

I think you can definitely do some more research. Use google and look at the sponsored results. These are actually people that paid for that specific term so they might be interested !

Good luck, the right buyer might throw you a few $100's.

    Regards,
    Mike.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking. I've had a few offers in the $25 - $50 range but I was thinking it should bring at least $200. I know some people in that biz and they move several slings a month (several as 50 - 200) and they are in the $35 - $50 each price range.
