Hi Everyone,
I am a graphic designer / artist and I am just about to launch my website: http://www.BuyModernArt.com
and would really appreciate some help in ensuring it is search engine friendly. Is there anyone one out there who can (genuinely) help me with ranking in search results and traffic. I get inundated with spam for increasing traffic and special tools but I ignore it all being suspicious of any information sent to me that I have not requested.
METATAGS
I have read a little about metatags and based my metatag on a very successful art site:
http://www.eyestorm.com
However they have gone against all trends and recommendations and have a huge keyword metatag which I have also opted for.
Should I keep my keyword metatag short or is it OK to have a long keyword metatag like eyestorm.com? I am not sure if this was a stratigic decision on their part or done through not understanding search engine optimisation... your feedback would be much appreciated.
SEARCH RESULT OPTIMISATION
Any tips on optimising my current metatags, and any help on things I can do to help get higher ranks in search results would be apprecited.
LET'S SWAP SKILLS
I am very strong on design and the creative side but when it comes to the technical and programming side I have very little experience...
Maybe there is someone out there who will swap their skills and help me in return for some killer design:
• logos
• interface
• buttons
• templates
• homepage
Please have alook around my site as I designed ALL logos, icons, buttons and templates.

Regards,
Steve
