    Hey there,

    i just updated my website layout again, please check it out http://www.ameliadiamond.com

    I read somewhere that my previous layout was the reason i was not listed on SE...!!
    they told me it was because the SE would read the first column on the right looking for the keywords, and it would not find them... was that bull?

    hehe, anyway... dont know much about search engines, i submited to everyone out there, so far... im just listed in Ask.com, good ranking i guess, whenever i used three keywords

    please, check my layout and let me know what you think, i also change the banner and some other minor stuff...

    remember, its my first website.

    Hi there

    The spiders will only read so much of each pages code so keywords do need to be presented in stategic locations. But no they are not limited to a specific area on your site.

    The spiders will usually read the top and bottom of your pages coding looking for the kwywords.

    They also look in the title and meta tags contrary to what everyone else says.

    Google especially uses titles.

    When doing title tags use keywords surfers will use...If im looking for house cleaning

    I don not type in Amelia Beach, Fernanina Beach - About us I would type in house cleaning , home cleaners, cleaners, etc

    The most important keywords to you go first on the left if you want to use location make it the last two words in your title.

    <title>House cleaning clean hoomes cleaning services cleaners amelia island fernanina beach</title>

    No more than 12 words in between the title tags.

    I would then use the title keywords for my meta description, meta keywords, and image alt tags. ( google loves people who keyword image tags and describe the pic)

    Try to use your keywords in headline tags on your site you might want to put " house cleaning" in <h1> to <h3> tags and other keywords in the <h4> to <h6>

    Also the title tag HAS to be first under the <head> tag.

    Ive heard meta description and then meta keywords should come next but Ive always seen keywords on top.
    Followed by all other meta content under that.

    Dont forget each page should have this same set up with the focus keywords moving to the left of the previously used keywords.

    Make sure page content and keywords match.
