Lightbulb Web, hybrid and native. Are you confused or is there order in the chaos?

    1. The mobile revolution.

I started this The mobile revolution thread 10-16-2008, 05:03 PM. Very much has happeneds since then, and the revolution that I wrote about in 2008 may now be more like an evoluton more than four years later.

    2. The three solutions.

There are mainly three solutions if you intend to develope anything for mobile platforms.
    1. Mobilize your web page or start a mobile site from scratch and enhance progressively.
    2. Build hybrid sites with platforms like PhoneGap.
    3. Build native sites for Apple, Micorsoft and other platforms.

    3. Videos and images for mobile platforms.

You can start simple and stream your videos so they can be viewed on a mobile platform. Now you can put the Norwegian National museum in your pocket since they have developed their own app. The Munch Museum has a simpler image solution on the GoogleArtProject.
