Cost of a custom APP development?

Hello all.

I would like to get an idea of how much it would cost to pay a developer to develope and app for an idea I have. I have no idea of the costs involved, so a ball park figure is what I am looking for and suggestions of where to go.

Don't advertize for someone to become your partner and share in the profits of the business rather than get paid. No half decent developer will go for that kind of deal. If you can't afford the cost then I can only suggest you start learning how to program.

I really didn't have an idea of full costs for a medium sized/complexity app but the link u gave give a good guide answer.

The reason I ask is because I (like many others) have a great idea for an app and wondered the average total costs involved for quality coding app.

I can programme but my skills are limited to javascript and flash. I would never share profits for outworker work as part of a 'deal'.
