    Hi logiseek

I would say Google Adwords keyword suggestion tool, Web CEO (which you can download for free and their knowledge base is free for 90 days), which you can use to analyse and compare good keyphrases and see which keyphrases your competitors are using.

    Hope this helps.

The easiest way is using a tool like SEMRush to reverse engineer what your competition is doing. Using the Google Keyword Tool is good - if you've got imagination. The problem is that your readers and searching for different terms than the ones you would use. Find a popular CAD forum and add them to SEMRush and you'll be amazed at your options. The forums can also give you an idea of the questions people are asking. They often use those same sort of questions in Google.

Try using Google Adwords, Google Trends and Google Suggest (Insights) ... Thus, only cross-check to pick a keyword that has enough traffic and little competition

I check what keywords are worth chasing with Google Adwords Keywords Tool - us the exact match if you want to see whether "town keyword" or "keyword town" etc is best.

Then I use tools to give me an idea as to how many backlinks the chief competition has got (eg seoheap backlink checker) - if they've got 1000s and have a high page rank (load Google's page rank bar on your Google toolbar or load something like seoquake onto firefox) then you're going to need a significant SEO backlink investment to compete.

Seeing people are giving advise without asking this,

What kind of cad drafting do you do? This would help you narrow down the type of keyword phrases you should look at.
