Of them all I like #4 the best, but with slight modifications. I like the icon of the dove clutching the leaf. However, I would inverse its position and move that icon to the left, and have the dove face the other way.

Logo #2 is good because it incorporates the charter oak, the official Connecticut state tree. However, the CT government probably uses that logo on everything so it might not be the best option. It's a nice, classy looking logo though.

Logo #5 puzzles me. A big problem with it is that the arrows point up. I would have figured you'd want the arrows pointing down seeing as how the business helps people bring their debt down or down to manageable levels. I'm also not a fan of the orange arrow in the middle either.

    Overall, I'd rank them like this, from best to least best: 4, 2, 3, 5, 7, 1, 6

Thank you too antihere for your detailed response and now that I think about it the arrows could give the reverse idea of getting out of debt. I'm still waiting for more input too...

Getting out of debt, is like getting out of a hole. IMO - Up arrows are like a reference to move onward and upward. Down arrows is a negative. You were right in the first place morestar.

That's a very good point. I guess there's more than one way of looking at imagery. I was thinking that in terms of debt down arrows would be more of a positive because it would signify lowering your debt burden. However, up signifies positive times ahead.

With that being said, I wouldn't use that logo or use any arrows at all. As you see here there's more than one way of interpreting that particular logo. While some people might get positive feelings from it others may get negative feelings. Go with imagery that isn't open to different interpretations. That's why I like logo #4; most people can feel positive about the dove.

If it's not too late morestar, I would kindly suggest stepping back and re-thinking the concept. Although the images you presented are good, they do not relay an association to the product or service. Some companies have successfully branded unrelated images, so my opinion my not mean anything, but you can decide.

First off, debt conjures up the idea of money. That could be dollar signs or even just the color of money. (the back side is green)

Next, the idea of consolidation makes me think compact. #3 comes close to compacting however not quite enough unity between the three images, they still seem as separate images that are very close together. It stands out compared to the others, but that could just be the orange.

    Ideas? Hmm,...
Perhaps #3, placing the smaller one inside of the larger one. Maybe with some kind of illusional effect, like you did with the pyramids and instead of orange use the color of money. Maybe instead of arrows use dollar signs? I think there are lots of ways to play with it. One inside the other is the idea.

I like the technique of #4, it is soft and comfortable,... easy is what it says. Maybe instead of a square framed background choose something similar to what you would find on currency. The one dollar bill has lots of artistic designs which might inspire.

The eye on the pyramid is what makes the minds connection to money and it isn't a very comforting feeling. The dove, sure, but I would at least try to incorporate the dollar sign first.
