    Adsense qualification question

I have a website that I want to put google ads on but I'm not sure if it meets the qualifications for Adsense. I already have an Adsense account that I use for ads on another site of mine, but I can't figure out how to contact support to ask this question. I am thinking that someone here might be able to answer my question..

The website that I want to add to my adsense account offers cash prizes. It clearly states on the site that the money for the prizes will come from ad revenue earned from ads on the site. I know that the rules for Adsense state that "payed to click" sites are not allowed. However, my site does not offer guaranteed money for clicking on ads. The website I am refering to is the poetry contest listed in my signature. My dilemma is, I don't want to put Adsense ads on the site if it could possibly put my Adsense account in jeopardy of being disabled for breaking their rules.

The content of your site does not look so great, google likes only good content, and also the interface is pretty simple. I don't think such a sight will have tons of traffic so, adsense will not work well on this site, and you will not earn much money from such a site. So in my opinion change the theme if you really want to place adsense on this site.

If I wanted opinions about the theme and content, I would have asked for a review in the Website Review section. For your information, the site gets 1,000's of page views every month dispite the fact that it does not have a fancy theme. As for the content.. Some of the poems featured on the site were written by very popular poets.

ok if you want to the point answer, then chances are that google will disable your adsense account, because most of the poems you will post on your blog are already available on different sites, so your content can be considered as duplicate content, and i don't think you will receive much direct traffic, as your site structure shows you plan to engage the social network's traffic to your site, so it will be inorganic traffic, and your adsense will be disabled

I'm so happy that I can't stop chuckling. Are you trying to say that google disables adsense accounts if a lot of traffic comes from social networks as opposed to organic search engine traffic?

The site ranks on the first page of google SERPs for 100's of relevant search phrases so I don't think duplicate content is an issue. 80% of the visitors to the site come from the search engines. Only 20% of the traffic comes from social networking sites.

    James,

I would think there is a good chance Google would feel people are being paid to click. Even though payments are not guaranteed, someone could still click more hoping for a bigger win.
