Thumbs down The true face of FaceBook

Is Facebook a state within Norwegian state? FaceBook denies full access to

    Sigrid Schetne's Facebook profile.

Sigrid Schetne is missing and valuable time is lost and is lost for every minute and hour.

Sigrid Schetne's apparance the evening she disappeared.

800 tips have come in after the 16-year-old Sigrid Schjetne disappeared, but no one has seen a young girl go from a friend to kindergarten. While police have received large quantities of clothes and possessions, but none of these are related to Sigrid.

In better trying to explain how Sigrid looked like the evening she disappeared, police now publishes surveillance photos of her as she goes on 69-bus at Tveita, at 19:45 Saturday night.

    - We hope that someone may have seen her, and we also hope that the pictures should help those looking for her to identify what kind of clothes they should look for, says Hanne Kristin Rohde Nettavisen.

    Another day without answer.

But Norwegian police has got one answer. It can take up to one year to get access to her facebook account.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to loose.

I cant read the article because its in Norwegian but, to my knowledge the FBI has a quick route to access legally FB accounts when needed. So it is possible to make FB comply with your needs when you have enough power/influence. Im guess the Norwegian police should start making threats.

Threatening who? Nearly every day the case is in Norwegian news. Norwegian police have got partly access to her account. But they want full access to see who she have been in contact with.

I think this case is very sensitive here, because the mother of the missed girl have a brother that lost her son in the Utøya massacre a part of the 2011 attack.

Extremely interesting if American police is treated otherwise than foreign (in this case Norwegian) police.

Or is Norwegian FaceBook protected by The Norwegian Data Protection Authority?
