Your actual postal address is inconsequential to the issue. If you are posting from India, you cannot show your location as posting in another city or country. One of the benefits of correctly identifying your home base is that it can immediately create a forgiving attitude to basic language characteristics. If a sentence reads a little bit "odd" It is reasuring to know the writer may well be struggling with a second language.
The words "In receipt in your reply" Is perfectly understandable (we will all understand your meaning).
But a little bit unexpected If spoken or written by a regular New Yorker.
