A Link Page By Any Other Name ... But What?

I'm working on a new site for an author. One of the pages they want is for links. Not reciprocal links, and not resources, but links to "organizations he's involved with." Resources doesn't seem to fit and I don't really like putting a button on the navigation menu that says "links." Friends is too, um, friendly. Too casual.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

For an accountants site I created, we titled a similary type of section and button, "Liaisons".

Liaisons sounds...well a bit tawdry... (Dangerous Liaisons springs to mind!)

I like Associations since they are organizations that the author is involved with. But Affiliations also works. I don't think it's too long...

Word Synonyms for "liaisons" include: Links, connections, contacts, relationships, associations

Nothing about adulterous relationships either.

I don't know but it looks as if Google frowns on such as "link farm". I had a page like that but got a notification from Google about "linking schemes" as they called it. After taking down the page, I filed for reconsideration and they approved it.

If you must, here are my suggestions. Our Business Partners, Our Associates, Appreciations. Then don't just put the links but write a paragraph or two with each link to make it look a bit natural. This is my personal opinion though.

You don't think it is too closely related to "Affiliates." ... either in users minds or Google's lexicon of related words?

I like those, thanks ... especially 'associates' as an alternative to affiliates ... but I am still concerned about length....

I like Associations since they are organizations that the author is involved with. But Affiliations also works. I don't think it's too long...

in terms of space on the menu bar and longer words may draw the eye away from more important links
