I wanted to know that for directory submission we should use unique content for every single directory or we can submit the same content for all directory

Generally, People use same details every time for directory submissions. So you can too use same details for your submission. However, I never give much preference to directory submission as lot of these sites are just spam.

Try to submit your site on niche and and high PR directories so that you can get quality link juice in return.

It has been stated many times in this forum that using repeated descriptions and more importantly repeated anchor text is a no-no.

However, I never give much preference to directory submission as lot of these sites are just spam.

How can you determine that the directories the OP is referring to are spam directories?

I'm not too sure about the negative ramifications of using the same content in directories. I'm talking from a 'trust' perspective, specifically related to keywords. In cases of determining the keyword nature related to the website, it's possible that directories could be used as a verification marker (citation of sorts). I know the idea might be a bit out there, but from my perspective, we know very little about Google's and the other's search algorithm. Yes there have been hits over the years to directory type websites and the links from certain ones devalued but with what's still out there, we don't really know.

I've, from time to time changed up my submissions but at other times I want to use the same title and description so there's no ambiguity in determining the niche I'm in.

Where are you looking for your links? In Google Webmaster Tools, perhaps?

Google offers some excellent guidelines for off page optimization, and they are also offering a lot webmasters a warning letter to say they don't trust their links. If you haven't checked your webmaster tools lately, it's a good idea to have a look.

It can take a week, a month, 6 months or longer to be accepted in some directories. Then one has to hope G finds those links and updates their index accordingly to account for the link. In fact, one site I site I worked on just got accepted into a directory I submitted to nearly a year ago.
